Sounds nice but I wouldn’t trade climates. Y our summers would be the death of me. O nce the clouds and rain return l ater this week we’ll get back to our regular 45. L ooking forward to it.

Full disclosure, I used to plug in my block heater on the ST every night in the fall/winter. I would start it up and get on the highway so quickly on my commute, I liked knowing that the engine would have a jump on getting warm.

Full disclosure, I used to plug my Previa in every night, because it was not to be trusted in keeping the battery charged (generally a slow drain, but you never knew when it was going to go, so better to just plug it in whenever you had the chance).

We got rain, that froze, then ball-bearing like ice pellet that poured off my roof valleys like hourglass sand (never seen it do that before, and being on the Canadian prairies, I’ve seen some snow) then about 8 inches of the heaviest dry snow I’ve ever shoveled. It’s like sand. Been shovelling for three hours in three sessions. not even close to done.
